Israel strikes Iran’s nuclear program and missiles with 50 aircraft: map of the raids
Israel bombed facilities linked to Iran’s nuclear weapons program and sites used for the manufacture of military equipment, with the participation of more than 50 aircraft, in an operation targeting three areas inside Iran.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Israeli army said that more than 50 air force aircraft carried out — based on intelligence guidance from the military intelligence directorate — an air raid targeting Iranian infrastructure in three different regions of Iran simultaneously.

The statement explained that the strikes were conducted “in parallel with targeting the heavy water plant in Arak, which constituted a key infrastructure for the production of plutonium used in nuclear weapons, as well as a unique factory in Iran for producing the explosive materials necessary for the uranium enrichment process, located in Yazd.”
According to the same statement, the offensive sortie included three waves of strikes that lasted for several hours, during which central facilities within the nuclear weapons program in Arak and Yazd were targeted, in addition to sites producing military equipment.
The Israeli army presented a list of targets, including military industries used to produce a variety of combat equipment.

It also targeted a site affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Defense which, it said, “was used for the production and development of explosive devices and served as a supply source of military equipment for the regime’s terrorist proxies, including the Palestinian Hamas movement and the Lebanese Hezbollah.”
A site for the production of components for ballistic missiles and anti-aircraft missiles was also targeted.
The statement considered that targeting these sites and facilities “constitutes an integrated strike against the regime’s production capabilities, whether in the ballistic missile program or the nuclear weapons program.”
