UAE President offers condolences to the King and People of Morocco
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the President of the United Arab Emirates, extended his condolences to King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people for the victims of the Haouz earthquake, which claimed the lives of at least 632 people in Morocco.
The President of the UAE wrote on his account on the “X” platform: ‘I offer my condolences to my brother King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people for the earthquake victims. We were saddened by this incident, and we stand by our brothers in Morocco in these difficult times. May God protect Morocco from all harm.’
On the other hand, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, stated on his account on the “X” platform: « Our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to our brothers in sisterly Morocco for the victims of the earthquake. We ask God to grant them patience, comfort, and His mercy, and to bestow safety and security upon them ».
