Who is Ibrahim Al-Qurachi, Sudan’s Minister of Culture and Information?
Ibrahim Al-Qurachi, also known as Ibrahim Al-Qurachi Othman, is a prominent figure who has become the Minister of Culture and Information in Sudan. He previously worked as a professor of Arabic language at the Faculty of Arts, University of Khartoum.
Later, he was drawn to expatriation and worked for several years as a professor at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He then returned to Sudan and settled at the University of Rabat.
He enriched the Sudanese library with a collection of books, including a book titled “Sudanese Customs with Arab Origins,” reflecting his Arab vision, as well as two other books, one about Sheikh Abdul Raheem Al-Buraey and the other about Sharif Mohammed Al-Amin Al-Hindi.
