Israel’s Channel 12 news quoted Liz Goral, a paramedic with Magen David Adom, as saying: “As soon as the sirens sounded, we received reports about several sites in the center of the country, and we headed to inspect all of them. One of these sites was a construction site. The situation there was dangerous, and the two victims were unconscious and suffering from severe shrapnel injuries to their bodies. After performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, we had to pronounce the death of a man around 40 years old, while the second casualty was evacuated to the hospital in critical condition and admitted to the intensive care unit.” His death was later confirmed.
In the city of Holon, fragments were reported to have fallen onto the roof of a gym, causing it to collapse. Sirens were also activated in several towns near the Lebanese border, though no casualties or property damage were reported. Meanwhile, the alarms have been almost continuous in northern Israel.

At the same time, the Israeli army renewed its attacks on Lebanon, particularly in the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut. The Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, stated: “Urgent warning to the residents of Lebanon: in the coming hours, the Israeli army will act forcefully against the infrastructure of the Al-Qard Al-Hassan association, which represents a central element in financing Hezbollah’s activities and harms the Lebanese economy in service of Iranian interests.” He added: “Therefore, I once again call on the residents of the southern suburbs to evacuate their homes.”
Later, the Israeli army announced that it had begun launching a wave of strikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut. Reports from the Lebanese capital indicate that numerous Israeli air attacks have targeted the southern suburbs in recent days.
