The Swedish company “Candela” announced that it has received its largest order to date, for the supply of a fleet of “Candela P-12” electric ships to the NEOM project in Saudi Arabia, with deliveries set to begin in 2025.
In a post on its Instagram account, the company said: “This emission-free fleet will redefine water transport with multiple journeys, high speeds, and low energy costs.”

Saudi sources have reported that this fleet of flying electric ships will be the first of its kind in the world and will contribute to providing advanced transport services in the Kingdom.
Each unit of the “Candela P-12” ships weighs 10 tons and is 12 meters long. It relies on computer-guided underwater wings to glide above the waves.
