Explosions were heard in Tehran as well as in the city of Kharg, west of the capital, according to the Iranian news agencies Mehr and Fars.
The two agencies reported that “moments ago, explosions were heard in some areas of Tehran and Kharg,” a city located on the western edge of the capital, without providing further details.
This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the ceasefire proposal aimed at ending the war, put forward by international mediators, “is not satisfactory enough.”
