Analyst reveals details of the UAE’s bold supply efforts to support Sudan and various nationalities in Khartoum


A humanitarian crisis is unfolding around the world unless the UAE extends to provide relief to those in need and imposes a sign of generosity and charity in all parts of the world. This is evident today with its rapid response to the humanitarian situation in Sudan as a result of the events it has been going through since the middle of last month.

Since the beginning of the crisis in Sudan, which has displaced thousands of families and caused shortages of basic food items, the UAE has been quick to extend a helping hand to those in need there, including Sudanese and other nationals from various countries who were forced to leave their homes or even return to their countries of origin, a Vision report found.

Continuous support

The UAE ‎ sent 30 tons of basic food supplies to ‎Sudan to provide urgent food support to thousands of Sudanese families affected by the current internal situation.

According to the Emirates News Agency; This food supply, which is the first urgent aid shipment to Sudan, comes under the directives of the leadership and its continued keenness to provide support to the Sudanese brethren.

These supplies come to contribute effectively to the international relief efforts inside Sudan and to alleviate the humanitarian burden imposed by the current circumstances.

Bridges to Humanity

The UAE continues to expand its humanitarian air bridges throughout the world, said UAE analyst Nael al-Jawabreh. The UAE has started sending urgent humanitarian aid to help those affected by the crisis in Sudan, most recently on Tuesday, sending an Emirati aid plane with food supplies to Abeche Airport on the Sudanese-Chadian border to provide support to Sudanese refugees.
The UAE is making great efforts to help the citizens of various countries who are trapped in Sudan because of the crisis, the UAE analyst added; Last week, the State evacuated the citizens of 19 countries and provided them with all necessary hospitality and care services. A few days later, an evacuation plane carrying the citizens of 16 countries from Sudan arrived in the United Arab Emirates.
