Developments in the health condition of Jihane el-Sadate … From the United States to the medical cent
Sources from the family of the late Egyptian President Mohamed Anwar Sadat revealed that his wife, “Jehan el-Sadate”, was exposed to an emergency health crisis.
On the state of health of 87-year-old Jehane el-Sadate, Effat Sadat, president of the Sadate Democratic Party, a senator, called on all Egyptians to pray for her.
In press statements, el-Sadate said that the health condition of the deceased president’s wife is very deteriorating. She was transferred to the World Medical Center on the Ismailia desert road two weeks ago.
He added that the wife of the late president was on a treatment trip in the United States during the past months, and returned to Egypt to obtain an intensive treatment protocol by contacting her team in the United States.
He stressed that she did not suffer from coronavirus, praising the health care done at the World Medical Center.
The Reform and Development Party, headed by Anwar Esmat Sadat, had declared yesterday the illness of the deceased president’s wife, describing her as “the mother of heroes.”
In a statement, the party said : “This is how the families of the martyrs of the October War and the wounded in the war came to call them, because of her great effort and what she has provided to care for them and compensate them through many projects, such as al-Wafa, al-Amal, children’s villages, and others that they have adopted.”
The statement added : “It was very strong and strong to endure a journey, a hard experience and a struggle with President Sadate from the beginning of his life until the day of his martyrdom. He had the best support, and an excellent example for the wife and the mother. A heartfelt tribute to her in her plight.” We pray to God for her to be healed and full of wellness.”
He continued : “History will not forget her role with other Egyptian female pioneers who have taken the lead in defending women, their rights and equality and opening new horizons for them in the future. Its positions in support of the Egyptian state will remain, at many different stages in the life of the country, a testimony to a wonderful march full of giving and sacrifices.. May you be safe, Mother of Heroes.”
Born on 29 August 1933, Jihane el-Sadate Raouf of an Egyptian father who is a university professor and holds British citizenship, a British mother, Gladys Charles Cottrell, a Bachelor of Arabic Literature, Cairo University in 1977, a Master of Comparative Literature, Cairo University in 1980, a PhD in Comparative Literature, Cairo University in 1986, a PhD in the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University, and then a Faculty at Cairo University.
She met Anwar Sadate for the first time in Suez (East) with a relative in the summer of 1948. She was fifteen years old, and Jihan fell in love with Sadat and decided to marry him, even though he was married and had 3 daughters, Roya and Camellia.
He was married to Jihane on 29 May 1949, early before becoming president when he was a junior officer.
He had three daughters, Lubna and Noha, and Jihane, and one son, Jamal. knowing that he was married to another woman before her, Iqbal Madi, and he had three daughters before they separated.
