Discovery of Bodies of Five Skiers in Switzerland


Five skiers have been found dead in Switzerland after they went missing during a skiing trip, while the search for a sixth skier is still ongoing.

According to the Swiss police, the bodies of the five skiers, including five members of the same family, were discovered near the Titlis mountain on Saturday along the Zermatt-Arolla route near the Matterhorn mountain, which extends along the border between Switzerland and Italy.

The police stated in a statement that the bodies were found, Sunday, in the Titlis sector.

Earlier, the police mentioned that the ages of the skiers ranged from 21 to 58 years old. However, they did not disclose the identities of the individuals whose bodies were found.

The mountain resort of Zermatt is renowned for skiing and attracts tourists from all over the world.
