ISIS urges its followers to “slice” pedestrians in London using trucks… Details

The British newspaper “The Times” reported on Sunday that the terrorist organization “ISIS” has asked its followers in the UK to use trucks to target pedestrians in crowded areas of the capital, London.

In a report published yesterday (May 7, 2017), the newspaper explained that ISIS urged its supporters and followers in the UK through its online magazine “Dabiq” to “target pedestrians and slice them by running them over with trucks in places that are crowded in London.”

According to what the “Russia Today” website reported from the newspaper, the “Dabiq” magazine highlighted crowded areas in the British capital such as Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus in central London, presenting them as ideal targets for future potential operations by the organization’s followers.

“Dabiq” also pointed out that the best means to carry out these attacks are large, heavy trucks, like the one used in the Berlin attack at the end of last year. The British newspaper noted that ISIS praised in its magazine the previous ramming attacks that took place in Europe.

It is noteworthy that a Briton named Khalid Masood carried out an attack in March last year against a group of pedestrians on Westminster Bridge in central London, killing a woman and injuring 12 others, using a 4×4 vehicle before rushing towards the car gates of the British parliament. He then exited his vehicle heading towards the House of Commons to stab a policeman, before the police shot and killed him on the spot.
