The only way to liberate Palestine
The return of Palestinians to be realistic does not mean that they give up their legitimate rights and surrender.
The point is to say that the reality imposes things that cannot be surpassed by wishful thinking or hasty decisions, for example, that there is no equivalence between Israel’s power and that of the resistance. Suffice it to note that a single Israeli missile kills many Palestinians in Gaza, while resistance rockets kill only by mistake, injure little and have limited destructive power. Due to the lack of equivalence, a rocket that falls in Tel Aviv or any Israeli city is being hit by a lot of rockets and missiles that destroy homes, residential towers and the cars of leaders as they move through the streets of Gaza.
We all love Palestine and there is no Arab or Muslim who accepts abandonment in Jerusalem and Al Aqsa, but things cannot be managed the way that Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other Palestinian factions are currently running because their outcome cannot be in the interest of the Palestinian cause and cannot achieve any gain for Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque, even if it rejoices.
Those who are outside Palestine and “curse” day and night and ask the Palestinians inside to stand and refuse even a truce despite the lack of equality do so because they are living with their children in their arms and not where the Palestinians are, and they face death.
It is inevitable to go beyond the stage of slogans and rhetoric that only results in harm and does not reach what the Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims want to reach, and if the words of some non-Palestinians and Palestinians living abroad are silver-based, then their silence is gold, and it contributes to finding a way out that provides the Palestinians inside with the opportunity to live as they should and like others.
To continue to look at reality unrealistically means to continue the confrontation between two unequal powers, and not in the words that the so-called “axis of resistance” is generously spreading these days, which makes the two powers even and leads to the liberation of Palestine, Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque.
