Truce violations – Houthi attacks continue in Yemen


In a military statement, the National Army revealed the latest developments of violations committed by the Houthi terrorist militia on various battlefronts in Yemen.

The Armed Forces Media Center said in a statement carried by the official news agency Saba: “The Iranian-backed militia has committed 68 breaches of the UN truce on various fronts”.

The Houthi violations included 21 truce violations in the Hays axis south of Hodeida, 16 in the Taiz axis front, 11 in the south, west and northwest of Marib, 8 in the Barah axis west of Taiz, 7 in the west of Hajjah, 3 in the Almalaheeth front on the Saada axis and 2 in the Dali axis, he said.

The Houthi-led militia has committed numerous violations, including attempts to infiltrate military sites in western Hajjah province, firing tanks, artillery and various vehicles, as well as detonating explosive-laden drones, establishing positions and fortifications, recruiting reinforcements and deploying ground-based air defenses on various fronts, he said.

Government forces announced the monitoring of 2,000 and 473 violations committed by the group in the first month of the truce, including shootings, attempts to infiltrate, rocket shelling, and air raids, as well as the creation of sites and trenches. This month, the army announced several times that it had shot down planes that marched by the Houthis in Marib.
