Turkey continue to send more mercenaries to Libya

Although the blocking of military operations between Libya’s eastern and western camps, in agreement with the ceasefire deal signed in Geneva on Oct. 23, certain international parties are remain promising the presence of their mercenaries to attain personal interests.

Indeed, the military theater of operations that is situated near the city of Sirte stills an open field for forces loyal to Turkey, and others affiliated with Russia. Certain Libyan politicians consider that Ankara did not come to the country to leave quickly.

New lot of mercenaries

On its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) declared on Saturday that the Turkish government sent a new lot of mercenaries to Libya during the past few days, comprising of 380 members.

In this context, Libyan politicians indicated that the removal of mercenary regiments, whether they were loyal to Turkey or those affiliated with Russia, passes via numerous bargains, as the last postcard to reach goals.

Last week, eight members of the US Congress appealed the administration of President Joe Biden, to use all the required influence to convince or force foreign mercenaries to quit the Libyan territory. Whereas, Turkey stays sending more elements to the country, as the Russian side refutes the presence of its troops in the lines of the Libyan National Army.

Thus, it is set that the struggling in Sirte would keep in the presence of confrontations of interests and although appeals by the UN and international and regional sides to dismiss mercenaries and foreign troops from the country.
