After the House Bombing Incident… Houthi Militia Plunders Citizens’ Homes in the Arhab Area
The Houthi militia is aimed at terrorism, destruction, and the bombing of residential homes and buildings, a consistent approach by the Iran-backed militias in their war against the Yemeni people.
The terrorist Houthi militia has been raiding and looting citizens’ homes in the Arhab region, north of Sanaa, Yemen, amid the cries of women and children, as the terrorist militias invade Yemeni citizens’ homes through armed Houthi groups.
Plundering and House Bombings
Finally, the Houthi militias have resorted to a policy of house bombings and residential building demolitions. According to recent human rights reports, the Houthi militias detonated 713 houses in all Yemeni provinces. Al-Bayda province led with 118 houses, followed by Taiz with 110 houses, then Al-Jawf with 76 houses, and Saada with 73 houses, and Ibb with 62 houses, and Sanaa with 57 houses, and Marib with 53 houses. Furthermore, in Dhamar province, 37 houses were destroyed, and 31 in Hajjah, 23 in Al-Dhale’e, 22 in Lahij, 21 in Amran, 14 in Al-Hudaydah, 10 in Shabwah, 5 in Abyan, and one house in Aden.
The issue traces back to citizen Mansour Hassan Ismail Al-Rakan from the Bani Saad district in Al-Mahwit province, who purchased a land of four Bane in 2017, in the Beit Al-Azri area, located in the Arhab district in Sanaa province, and built a residential house on it for himself and his family.
The land gang exerted pressures at the police station, accompanied by supervisors following the Houthi militia classified on the terrorism list, aiming to force him to relinquish the land and the house, but he refused.
Yemeni journalist Yasser Al-Yafi’i, via the X platform, stated: “A new atrocity by the Houthi militia loots citizens’ homes in the Arhab region. By God, listen to the voice of the woman, how much despair, injustice, and pain… Truly, manhood is dead… O Arabs, this is the Houthi who falsely claims to fight Israel and America.”
Political activist Faisal Al-Shu’ouri said: “The imported lineage did not stop at the Radad incident alone but increased its activity in committing similar crimes in Arhab, where it attacked women in the Arhab area, invaded homes where there were only women, and plundered their contents without shame or concern for the society’s values and customs. Is this mockery and disdain aimed at anything other than humiliation?”
Lawyer Ali Al-Awlaqi confirmed that the terrorist Houthi militia invades citizens’ homes and loots them in the Arhab region, north of Sanaa, Yemen, amid the cries of women and children.
