“Strange”: Woman Discovers “Extra Organs” in Her Body

In a bizarre and shocking incident, a woman from Adelaide, South Australia, discovered she has “extra parts” in her body after suffering from excruciating stomach pain.

Placanik, 31, experienced severe pain that led her to the emergency room, where she underwent several medical tests. She explains, “I was in such intense pain, it was like the worst pain I’d ever felt. My mother took me to the ER, where they did a quick scan and saw a uterus and a mass next to it, which made them suspect a tumor.”

Although the initial tests showed no signs of a tumor, the search for the root cause of Mil’s pain continued. After visiting a gynecologist and undergoing a laparoscopy, doctors discovered that Mil has two uteruses, four ovaries, two cervixes, and three kidneys.

According to the British newspaper The Mirror, this shocking discovery helped Mil understand why she had been experiencing persistent abdominal pain and heavy bleeding. However, this unique condition also led her to suffer from early menopause in her thirties, something she had not anticipated. She added, “Doctors initially thought it might be a tumor, but deeper investigation showed that I have extra organs, and they also found parts of the uterine lining outside their usual place, known as endometriosis.”

She noted that this experience underscored the importance of thorough examinations, saying, “The lesson learned is that you can’t always rely on standard tests, as they aren’t always comprehensive. The scan didn’t reveal everything, or else we wouldn’t have needed all this time to reach a diagnosis.”
