The death of one of the two victims in the “Devil’s Slave” parade incident


The South Dakhleya Prosecutor’s Office in northern Cairo has ordered the detention of a suspect in a wedding party that turned into a tragedy after youths organized a parade with fire extinguishers. The suspect was known in the media as a parade of devil worshipers.

According to a security source, investigations and information from eyewitnesses have gathered that the brother of the bride who works as a ”discussion” is the one who invited his friends to celebrate the transfer of his sister’s device in this dangerous way, which resulted in the injury of two girls, one of whom died after they were transferred to the hospital.

The source confirmed to Sky News Arabia that the accused was arrested and admitted that he had invited his friends for the purpose of the celebration, and did not imagine that things would reach this point.

The Public Prosecution ordered an autopsy on the deceased girl, who was identified as Mayada Ehab, a student of the Faculty of Arts, and suffered a fractured skull as a result of the fire extinguisher hitting her head.

The prosecution is waiting for the second victim, Nour Waleed, a student in the second year of secondary school, to recover.

Prosecutors quickly ordered police to arrest the remaining suspects in the incident, who fled immediately after the incident.

The transfer ceremony of the bride in the village of Atmida in the Mit Ghamr Center in Dakhleya turned into a tragedy after a number of young people in foreign clothes came and started dancing, carrying fire extinguishers and gas cylinders. Residents described the police as a show of devil worship.

During the celebration, one of the fire extinguishers exploded, and the other one was killed while the other was still in the intensive care room. The other two were in critical condition and were in critical condition.

The incident sparked outrage among villagers and on social media, with authorities calling for swift arrest of the accused and the prevention of such strange and dangerous roads in the celebrations.
