Agent Al-Azhar: “Human Brotherhood” Is the Most Important World Document of the Current Century


Dr Muhammad Al-Dawaini, Al-Azhar’s Under-Secretary, confirmed Thursday that the “Human Brothers Document” is the most important document of this century.

Al-Dawaini told Al-Ain News: ”Two years have passed since the signing of the Document on Human Brotherhood. Many accomplishments have been made during this period and there is still a long way to go to realize the ambitions and aspirations to embody the principles of human fellowship on the ground reality, which requires the concerted efforts of benevolent believers in its goals until it is transformed into a comprehensive constitution around which people gather around the heart of one man”.

The Al-Azhar official added that the human brotherhood document put the whole world before its past, present and future. For him to make the decision to adopt whatever the heavenly religions provide for the peace and security of all mankind, for it is the most important world document of this century.

The representative of Al-Azhar pointed out that the equivalent of the assassination of a human being his neighbor due to the absence of principles and values ​​and the spread of terrorism is not hidden from those who read currently the news of the world. Therefore, it is well that thinkers, clerics, philosophers, media professionals, artists and artists around the world should join hands to rediscover through this document the values ​​of peace, justice, goodness, beauty, coexistence and fight against terrorism and extremism.

He underlined the importance of relying on the positive factors of life, namely young people who expect the future to be built while having the values ​​of tolerance and peace.

Thursday, the second anniversary of the signing of the Document on Human Fraternity, signed by His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church, and His Eminence, Dr Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, on the Land of in the United Arab Emirates on February 4, 2019, under the high patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates.

In commemoration of this memory and appreciating the objectives of the document, and in support of the efforts of the United Arab Emirates to spread tolerance, the international community celebrates for the first time, Thursday, the “International Day of Human Brotherhood”, after the United Nations The General Assembly of Nations unanimously adopted a resolution in this regard.
