Children Poisoned Inside Swimming Pool in Egypt
A group of children at a swimming club in Egypt suffered from suffocation due to exposure to toxic chlorine gas.
At least 5 children were affected by suffocation inside a swimming pool at the “El Tersana” club, and they were transported to the hospital for treatment and initial care, according to “Al Youm Al Sabea” newspaper.
Following this incident, the parents of the children filed a complaint with the authorities against the person responsible for the swimming pool, prompting an investigation into the matter.
The swimming pool had previously faced an issue with leakage, which was reportedly repaired according to its management. However, the leakage resurfaced, leading to cases of poisoning and suffocation among some children, who were subsequently hospitalized.
