Greek Prime Minister: The return of the Turkish survey vessel Oruc Reis was a positive first step

The Greek Prime Minister; Kyriakos Mitsotakis, reported on Sunday that the return of the Turkish survey ship which called Oruc Reis to the southern province of Antalya was a positive first step to reduce the tensions with Turkey about the marine natural resources.

Mitsotakis informed reporters in Thessaloniki: The return of Oruc Reis is a positive first step; I hope there will be continuity. We want to talk with Turkey but in a climate without provocations. He also said that the discussion is the only way to solve the one problem between the two countries, the demarcation of maritime zones, adding that the first step (by Turkey) will be the prologue of an improving situation in our bilateral relations.

The Greek Prime Minister also declared that Greece plans to purchase six of the 18 Dassault-made Rafale fighter jets to promote its air force, and they will be new and the rest a little used. He said that Greece also plans to update four of its frigates and obtain another four.
