New iPhone Features Coming in Early 2025… Discover Them!

Apple has introduced a wide range of new iPhone features over the past few months with iOS 18 updates, but more are on the way soon.

Here are all the new iOS features we know are coming in the first four months of 2025.

Major Siri Upgrades

Apple claims Siri has entered a new era. iOS 18.1 introduced a new design for Siri with minor improvements, and iOS 18.2 added ChatGPT integration. However, some of the biggest changes yet are coming with iOS 18.4 in April this year, including:

  1. Executing hundreds of new actions within Apple apps without needing to open them.
  2. Analyzing received messages and personal data to provide smarter assistance.
  3. Screen content recognition so you can easily ask Siri to take action based on what you’re viewing.

These updates are set to deliver a more powerful and intuitive user experience.

Priority Notifications

Apple Intelligence has made significant changes to how notifications work, with more updates on the way. Among them are priority notifications, which will appear at the top of grouped notifications, allowing you to quickly identify important items. Notifications will also be summarized for faster viewing.

New Integrated Emojis

Genmoji already allows you to create missing emojis, but Apple plans to continue adding new emojis to the iPhone keyboard. The next batch, expected in iOS 18.3 or 18.4, will feature:

  • A tired face with bags under the eyes,
  • A fingerprint,
  • A leafless tree,
  • A lyre,
  • A shovel.

The tired face emoji, in particular, is expected to be a hit.

Sketch Drawing Style

Apple has introduced a new app on the iPhone’s home screen called Image Playground, which allows users to create images in Animation and Illustration styles. A third style, Sketch, will be added soon.

Robot Vacuums

A new device category will be integrated into the Home app: robot vacuums. Once iOS 18.3 is released in the next couple of months, you’ll be able to control these devices from your iPhone using the Home app or Siri commands.

New Languages

Apple has announced that several new languages will be supported by Apple Intelligence starting in April with iOS 18.4. While Apple hasn’t specified the languages coming in April, it has confirmed a list for 2025, including Chinese, French, German, and Italian.
