Saudi Arabia denounces Iraq terrorist assault that took place in Baghdad
According to a statement, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry denounced on Monday the terrorist assault that happened in an army position in Baghdad, Iraq’s capital.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry declared in a statement on Twitter: We strongly condemn and denounce the terrorist attack that took place in #Iraq, and we extend our condolences to the families of the victims, to the government and people of #Iraq, and to those injured a speedy recovery.
On Monday, police sources and medics reported that unknown gunmen killed at least 11 people and injured eight others including soldiers in an assault on an Iraqi army station in western Baghdad.
The same sources stated that the attackers that were in four vehicles attacked the station in the capital’s southwestern district of al-Radhwaniya by the use of grenades and automatic arms.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), an official Saudi delegation started on Sunday on a diplomatic visit to Iraq directed by the Kingdom’s Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Abdulrahman al-Fadhli.
