“The Gallant Knight 3″… The UAE sends a ship loaded with 4000 tons of aid to support Palestinians


In support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, on Saturday afternoon, an Emirati aid ship set sail loaded with (4016) tons of humanitarian materials heading to the city of Al-Arish, in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip, as part of the “The Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation ordered by the President of the State, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The ship sailed from the port of Fujairah carrying (3465) tons of food, (420) tons of shelter materials, in addition to (131) tons of medical aid secured by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the UAE Red Crescent Authority.

The UAE had previously operated (82) flights carrying (1498) tons of aid since the launch of the “The Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation ordered by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, to support Palestinians in Gaza. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Red Crescent Authority, directed the harnessing of all resources to implement the orders of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, to support the Palestinian people in Gaza through the “The Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation.

The UAE had also organized an airlift to transport hospital equipment as part of its efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian brothers and support the healthcare system in Gaza, facing exceptional and critical conditions.

The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, directed the provision of $20 million in financial support to the people of Gaza, distributed through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees. Additionally, the Prime Minister of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ordered the provision of AED 50 million to Palestinians in Gaza.
