48 killed in fuel truck explosion in Nigeria
Nigeria’s disaster management agency announced that at least 48 people were killed on Sunday in a fuel truck explosion following its collision with another vehicle in the northern-central region of the West African country.
The agency added that the fuel truck collided with another vehicle carrying passengers and livestock, and several other vehicles were also damaged in the accident.
