Arab League discusses the recent terrorist attacks against the UAE by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militia

Today, the Arab League is holding an extraordinary session at the level of permanent delegates, chaired by Kuwait, to discuss the Houthi terrorist attacks that recently targeted the United Arab Emirates.

In an official memorandum the day before yesterday, the UAE requested an extraordinary session at the delegate level to discuss the terrorist incidents that Houthi terrorist militias targeted civilian facilities in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The General Secretariat of the Arab League circulated the United Arab Emirates’ request to the Arab States, which was supported by the State of Kuwait and a number of other Arab States.

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist attack on civilian areas and facilities on Emirati soil, stressing that the League stands with the UAE in confronting these operations, which seek to destabilize the security and stability of countries to achieve foreign agendas.

Abu Dhabi was attacked a few days ago by a Houthi drones; a number of people were killed and injured.

Iran-affiliated Houthi militias continue to issue threats to target civilian objects and businesses in the UAE.

Terrorist militias in Yemen have advised foreign companies operating in the UAE to leave the country, saying it is an unsafe country and indicating that they may target it again.
