Yemen – Houthi militia continues violations targeting civilians and strategic sites
The Houthi terrorist militia continues to violate the international truce in Yemen. Houthi has carried out numerous crimes and continued violations against civilians in a continuation of terrorist operations.
Over the past few hours, the military media of the joint forces revealed 23 truce violations committed by the Houthi terrorist militia on Wednesday in the battlefronts in southern al-Hudaydah province and western Taiz province. The violations were 18 violations of the truce in the southern fronts of al-Hudaydah province and 5 violations in the western fronts of Taiz province, according to statistics released by the military media.
The Yemeni army also announced that it repelled four attacks by the Houthi militia on fronts in Marib, al-Jawf and al-Hudaydah governorates, amid escalating breaches of the UN truce announced in early April.
The Yemeni Ministry of Defense announced via its website that the army and the resistance forces have repelled offensive attempts and infiltrations by Houthi militias in the southern and western fronts of Marib province. It noted that they have observed more than 71 truce violations committed by Houthi militias on several fronts, including Marib, al-Jawf, Hajjah, al-Hudaydah, Taiz and Dhale.
Abdulhafeez Nahari, a Yemeni political analyst, said: The terrorist militia continues its constant violations without regard to the international truce, which confirms the crimes of the Houthi terrorist militia.
The Yemeni political analyst added: Despite the two-month truce, which has been welcomed by Yemen, the international community, the UN and the region, Houthi militias continue their terrorist plans to launch attacks in several strategic locations and target civilians for their own ends.
