Orchestrated by the Brotherhood.. Tunisian police announce assassination attempt on Kais Saied
Terrorist elements, led by the Muslim Brotherhood’s Ennahdha Movement, continue their absurd plans in the country to disrupt the process of political stability, the roadmap announced by the Tunisian state, which is represented in the preparation of a new constitution next July, and the holding of legislative elections at the end of this year, which made them prepare for a new attempt to assassinate Tunisian President Kais Saied.
President’s target plot
The Tunisian Interior Ministry said: There are confirmed reports of serious threats to the life and safety of President Kais Saied.
Interior Ministry spokesperson Fadhila Al-Khulaifi said: Both internal and external elements are implicated in the plots targeting the president, and the “goal is to undermine public security in the country” which is in the midst of a severe political crisis.
Fadhila Al-Khulaifi said at a press conference: “According to confirmed information and ongoing investigations… “The president and the presidency are being targeted by serious threats,” he said, noting that “there is a plot involving internal and external parties that targets the security of the president” to undermine public security in the country.
Confronting Brotherhood Plans
Dr. Oussama Aouidet, a Tunisian political analyst and leader of the Tunisian People’s Movement, says: The Muslim Brotherhood Ennahdha Movement seeks to threaten the security and stability of Tunisia by implementing its absurd plans targeting state institutions, headed by President Kais Saied, in order to disrupt the process of building and stability currently led by the President after the dissolution of the parliament that was controlled by the terrorist movement.
The Tunisian political analyst added that the assassination attempt on the Tunisian president is not new to the Muslim Brotherhood movement, especially that it was involved in many terrorist acts in Tunisia, pointing out that it was the one who arranged and coordinated with external parties for the threat and assassination attempt announced by the Tunisian police, stressing that the Tunisian people stand behind its leadership in order to preserve the Tunisian state from any threats facing Tunisia.
