Rihanna officially returns to music after five years of absence!


Rihanna announced her return to music after five years of absence. The Barbados-born singer will release a new sound on Friday for the soundtrack of the upcoming Black Panther.

Entitled “Lift Me Up”, the title will be part of the soundtrack of the next Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Marvel Studios broke the news by posting a video on twitter. In this video, the letter “R” is accented and shines, and Rihanna has share that same “R” on his social media on Wednesday.

The song was written as a tribute to the star of Black Panther, Chadwick Bosemanwho died of cancer in 2020.

Many fans expected Rihanna to return to music after the singer announced last month that she would be performing at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. However, no information has leaked regarding a possible ninth album by Rihanna.

Rihanna became a billionaire for the first time in August and Forbes estimates his net worth at $1.4 billion.

The last musical appearance of the singer from Barbados dates back to 2017, on the group’s title “Lemon”. NERD. His last album Anti was released in 2016. During these five years of break, Rihanna developed her commercial empire Fentyincluding her makeup line Fenty Beautyits skincare line Fenty Skin and her lingerie line Save X Fenty. This year, she and her companion, the rapper A$AP Rockyhad a baby boy.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forver is the sequel to the hit 2018 film, Black Panther, and will be released in theaters on November 9. The soundtrack for the first film was produced by Kendrick Lamarand his song for the film with SZA“All The Stars”, was nominated for the Oscar for Best Original Song.

The annual Savage X Fenty Parade will stream on Amazon Prime Video on November 9, featuring performances by Burnaboy and D’Anitta and appearances of Sheryl Lee Ralph, Cara Delevingne and Simu Liu.

Throughout her career, Rihanna has won 9 Grammy Awards.
