5.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Sichuan Province in China
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Muli area in Sichuan Province, China, according to the “China Earthquake Networks Center” on Monday.
The center announced on its official page on the Chinese social media site “Weibo” that “the earthquake occurred at 11:07 AM (0307 GMT).”
According to the center, the earthquake occurred in the “Muli” region, located in the “Liangshan” prefecture of “Sichuan” province, at a depth of 8 kilometers.
