How is Iran preparing to respond to Israel? An American newspaper reveals the details

How is Iran preparing to respond to the strike it delivered to Tel Aviv at the beginning of this month?

The American newspaper “The New York Times” reported that Iranian officials stated that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had ordered the military to develop multiple plans to respond to any Israeli attack.

Iranian officials confirmed to the American newspaper that Khamenei “issued his directives to respond to Israel if it targeted oil or nuclear facilities,” but they clarified that if the Israeli attack was limited to military bases and missile and drone depots, Iran would not retaliate.

Iran will take revenge if the Israeli strikes cause significant damage and substantial losses, according to the same source. Officials stated that Iran “has put its armed forces on high alert and has strengthened its air defenses at sensitive military and nuclear sites.”

They added that Tehran “has placed military commanders who fought in Iraq and Syria in the border provinces in anticipation of attacks from opposition groups taking advantage of a state of war in case it breaks out.”

According to two members of the Revolutionary Guard quoted by “The New York Times,” “if Israel inflicts severe damage on Iran, the responses being considered include launching up to 1,000 ballistic missiles simultaneously with attacks by allied groups, as well as disrupting global energy supplies and shipping.”
