Military devices found at the rocket launch site targeting Damascus

The Syrian Ministry of Defense has identified the location from which rockets were launched toward the Mazzeh district in Damascus and found improvised military devices at the site.
The Ministry’s Media and Communications Directorate said: “We managed to locate the firing point of the rockets that targeted the Mazzeh district and caused several injuries among residents. The site is currently being secured to allow the continuation of the investigation.”

It added that a specialized military team was able, through studying the angles of impact and the concentration pattern of the projectiles, to determine the exact launch point.
The Ministry of Defense found improvised military devices used during the rocket attack on the Mazzeh district, noting that the rockets were launched from the outskirts of the capital, Damascus.

The Media and Communications Directorate had previously stated that the attack was carried out using two “Katyusha” rockets fired toward the residential areas of Mazzeh and its surroundings, resulting in civilian injuries and material damage.
It explained that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, an investigation had been opened to uncover the circumstances of this “heinous assault,” gather the necessary evidence, and determine the rockets’ trajectory and launch locations.
