The historic and extended bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, which serve as a model for the Arab and Gulf countries.

Regarding relations between the United Arab Emirates and Oman, a number of Omani citizens said that they are a distinct example of relations between two neighboring countries, combining historical, geographical and mutual respect ties, and the continuous trend to develop relations in all fields and elevate them to the aspirations of the peoples of the two brotherly countries. They confirmed that Omani-Emirati relations are historical and deepened with the progress of years and that the malicious and hateful people were unable to undermine them.

Mohammed Saoud alMughairi said: Relations between the two countries are not limited to taking into account interests and constructive cooperation in areas of common interest, but extend to broader horizons, as they are of a special nature characterized by sincere brotherhood, proximity and geographical interdependence based on good-neighborliness and close social and family ties that enjoy great status among the peoples of the two countries and are supported by ties of history, Islamic, Arab and Gulf common affiliation, he said, noting that the relationship between the two peoples is friendly, brotherly and ancestral.

For his part, Abdullah Al-Machaikhi said: Sheikh Zayed Ben Sultan Al Nahyane and Sultan Qabus, established solid relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman. These relations were reflected in the close economic cooperation between the two countries and the strength of the Emirati-Omani relations, which have taken on a family nature. The two countries have deep historical relations, the most prominent of which are the unity of religion, language, descent and the single roots of tribes, families and neighborhoods, along the long common borders, the common history and, of course, the unity of interests.

Ahmed Mazrouei said: Omani-Emirati relations transcend borders. There is family and social cohesion, trade and economic exchange and relations at a high level of diplomacy. The two brotherly countries have become one heart in two bodies that cannot be separated. Love is not born by chance, but there are signs that precede it, namely good-neighborliness, living in peace, security and peace among brothers. We see that Omanis are very interdependent, and frequent visits between them precede all speeches and words, while we see the brotherly Omani people of the United Arab Emirates hailing the Omani wherever he is, and proud that the Sultanate is a neighbor living side by side with the UAE.

In light of the great and prolonged cultural balance of relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples and the close and deep connection of interests between them at all levels, the two brotherly countries have provided a good and mature model of what relations should be between the two brothers, and of the common and mutual interests in achieving prosperity and well-being for one people on both sides of the border, linked by the bonds of brotherhood and history with common experiences, and the common hope and aspiration for a better future of peace, security, stability and prosperity, for which the leaderships of the two countries are working at all levels, said Ramy Al-Baloushi.
