Arab Coalition demolished two drones launched by Houthi
On Tuesday, the Arab Coalition stated that it interrupted and demolished two explosive-laden drones launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia. It also said that one drone was interrupted over Yemeni airspace, while the other was destroyed when it was in direction towards the Kingdom’s Jizan.
The coalition added that the Iran-backed militia pursuits its aggressive attempts to attack civilians in both Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Al Arabiya sources reported previously on Tuesday what local sources said that one civilian was murdered and six others were injured after that a ballistic missile launched by the Iran-backed group fell down in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Yemen’s Marib. The sources also said that the Houthis launched a ballistic missile at the city at about 11 a.m. local time.
On his part, Yemeni Minister of Information Muammar al-Iryani said that the Houthis’ continuous assaults on neighborhoods in Marib as well as its military escalation in the area induced risk for millions of children and displaced families.
The coalition also related that it would take the necessary operational procedures to protect civilians in agreement with international humanitarian law.
