Elon Musk Mocks Microsoft’s Glitch
The CEO of the “X” platform, Elon Musk, mocked the technical glitch that occurred today, Friday, in the global system of “Microsoft,” which caused global confusion at airports, banks, and hospitals in the United States and several European and Arab countries.
Musk posted an emoji of a laughing face in response to a satirical post showing blue screens indicating a global malfunction caused by a technical issue in Microsoft’s system.
The post featured a man calmly smoking a cigarette, implying that the “X” platform was unaffected by the glitch.
Microsoft, on its part, announced that it is investigating an issue affecting many Microsoft 365 applications and services.
The company stated that it had identified the cause and is working on fixing it, assuring that there has been continuous improvement in its services as it continues to transfer to unaffected infrastructure.
Airports and institutions worldwide had reported being affected by the technical glitch, resulting in service disruptions at several sites.
According to “Reuters,” the global technical outage impacted operations in various countries, including Spanish and Turkish airlines, as well as Australian media and banks.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration announced a ground stop for flights of several major U.S. airlines on Friday due to communication problems.
