He entered the retirement home and committed the strangest crime of an old man of his age


Police and media have revealed that an Australian man has been formally charged with selling drugs at his Sydney suburban retirement home.

Police had arrested him on Thursday after finding cannabis and methamphetamine in his car.

During a search of his home in a Sydney old people’s home, police found ALS, cannabis and a baton. Investigations into these drug trafficking began in June.

The Sydney newspaper ”Daily Telegraph” reported that the inquiry was opened after inmates at the old people’s home complained about the suspicious behavior of the 62-year-old man and his visitors.

The newspaper said that the man was selling drugs from the old people’s home, a tip that police confirmed to AFP.

He was charged with possession of and trafficking in illicit drugs, possession of a weapon without a license and violation of health regulations adopted to combat the spread of COVID-19. He is due to appear in court on September 8th.
