Houthi steals food and financial aid to Yemeni people before Ramadan

In light of the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen, a number of international and civil society organizations have sent tons of food aid in addition to financial assistance to provide support to the people before the holy month of Ramadan.

According to informed sources, this aid did not reach Yemenis, but stopped being delivered by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

Aid theft

Informed Yemeni sources revealed that Yemen received huge food and financial aid from various parties to support the people facing the biggest humanitarian crisis in history.

The sources said that the Houthi militia has seized all aid and left nothing to the people.

The population is suffering from major economic crises due to the lack of food products and the suspension of public sector salaries by Houthi-affiliated militia, she said.

Observers say Houthi’s continued theft of humanitarian aid is an unforgivable crime, and the international community should not remain silent about these practices, which amount to war crimes.

Saving the group

Informed sources confirmed that the Houthis are suffering from major financial crises after the international siege imposed on them increased.

Financial crises have become a threat to the stability of the Iranian-backed militia, so they have stolen food and financial aid to their men to appease them and absorb their anger.

Houthi’s actions have angered millions of Yemenis who are tired of Houthi’s terrorist practices.

Consecutive thefts

Since 2017, the international community has discovered the criminality of the Houthi, who has aggravated all the suffering of Yemenis by stealing all food aid and sending it to its members.

Since the occupation of Yemen six years ago, international organizations have been sending food and financial aid to the Yemeni people on a monthly basis. However, all this assistance has ended up in Houthi warehouses and has been sent to Houthi fighters on different battlefronts to kill the Yemeni people.
