The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that a 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred today, Saturday, at 09:31 local time, in Kahramanmaraş.
In a statement shared on its “X” platform account, the agency stated that the epicenter of the earthquake is located in the Pazarcık district of the province.

The statement also noted that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface.
In a later statement, AFAD confirmed that no losses had been reported so far due to the earthquake, and that field survey efforts are continuing in the region.
