Selena Gomez Shocks Fans with Her Weight Loss 

American star Selena Gomez left her fans stunned with her slim figure while attending the 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards last night, Sunday.

Arriving on the red carpet in a navy blue gown by Celine, social media users quickly noticed that the 32-year-old actress appeared noticeably thinner, seemingly having lost a significant amount of weight.

Alongside her elegant look, Selena opted for minimal makeup that highlighted her features. As she turned around, several tattoos on her back became visible, including the phrase “Love yourself first” written in Arabic, located just below her right shoulder.

Although she was not nominated for any individual awards at the event, she is competing for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for her work in Only Murders in the Building and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture alongside her co-stars in Emilia Perez.

Last November, Selena Gomez revealed that she suffers from a digestive disorder called SIBO, stating that it made her feel nauseous. She said:
“I don’t care that I don’t look like a stick figure. I don’t have that body, end of story. No, I’m not a victim, I’m just a human being.”

SIBO, which stands for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth, occurs when the passage of food and waste in the digestive system slows down, creating an environment for bacterial overgrowth, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Health experts say this condition is typically caused by surgery or illness, with symptoms including bloating, stomach pain, and malnutrition.

Last year, Selena Gomez openly spoke about breaking down in tears over body-shaming comments.

In 2023, she also revealed that the medication for her lupus causes fluctuations in her weight.

At the time, she explained that her body retains a lot of water due to the multiple medications she takes, encouraging her fans to embrace self-love, even during moments of insecurity or self-doubt.
