Sudan’s Minister: The fill of Ethiopia’s Renaissance Dam in July make a threat of Sudan’s security

On Saturday, Sudanese Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Yasser Abbas declared that Sudan see that any unilateral step to fill Ethiopia’s Renaissance Dam in July would create a direct threat to its national security.

In an interview with Reuters, Abbas said that Sudan also suggests a mediation role for the United States, European Union, United Nations and African Union in discussions about the dam between Sudan, Egypt and Ethiopia.
