Despite the confirmation of Hamas’ relationship with the warehouse, the movement denied, and denounced what it called the disinformation campaign, and the dissemination of false news that accompanied the painful incident that took place in the “Northern Tower” camp in southern Lebanon, pointing out that the reported news about the causes of the incident and the death of dozens of people are fabricated and unfounded.
“According to official estimates, Lebanon is home to at least 174,000 Palestinian refugees in camps that over the years have been reduced to informal neighborhoods crowded with residents, buildings, and electrical wires, but the actual number is likely around 500,000.”
