The UAE humanitarian team in Amdjurass, Chad, continues its mission to alleviate the suffering of Sudanese refugees due to the current situation in the sister Republic of Sudan. Additionally, the team aims to support the local community by conducting field visits to villages, assessing their needs, and distributing food parcels to those in need.

Saif Al Afari, representative of the UAE Red Crescent Authority, stated: “The UAE humanitarian team in the Republic of Chad continues to distribute food parcels to Sudanese refugees and the local community in Amdjurass and its affiliated villages. This is done in coordination with the UAE Coordination Office for Humanitarian Assistance in Chad, as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to support the friendly Chadian people and enhance the humanitarian and relief support provided by UAE humanitarian institutions to Sudanese refugees in Chad.”
