Turkish guidance controls the Libyan political scene
It does not appear that Libya would leave the Turkish guidance
that was established by military and security agreements with the national accord government
and a military intervention that added another page of occupation covered with a logic of: By the demand of the Libyan people
In his first statement after his election as president of the transitional government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba said
that there would be solidarity between Turkey and Libya
and that we have great solidarity with the Turkish state and people
Whereas Turkey has affirmed that its military presence in Libya
would not be affected by the election of the new transitional authority
indicating that the new government “supports Turkey’s role” in Libya
on his part, Yasin Aktay, adviser to the Turkish president
said that Turkey is in Libya because of an invitation from the Libyan people
But, the Turkish official’s statements contradict international calls
with the most recent call was published a few days ago by the UN Security Council
that called for the retreat of all foreign forces in Libya
with reference to Turkish military forces
