5 family members killed in a horrifying fire in Egypt
A fire in a residential apartment in Alexandria, northwest of Egypt, claimed the lives of 5 people from a single family.
Security authorities quickly responded to the incident at a residential apartment in the Midan Market area in the Bahari district of the governorate after receiving a notification from the Alexandria Security Directorate about the fire.
The initial inspection revealed that a fire broke out in the apartment, resulting in complete charring, according to local media reports. The relevant authorities gained control over the fire, extinguishing it and ensuring it did not spread to the rest of the building’s floors. However, the five family members were transported to the hospital, but it was discovered that they had died upon arrival.
In response, the public prosecutor’s office ordered a prompt investigation into the incident, in addition to questioning eyewitnesses.
