Tunisian experts reveal: Brotherhood plans will fail and people have the last word

Intensive preparations are underway for the completion of the legislative elections which will start on the 17th of this month. Tunisia aspires to close a transitional stage in the country’s history and to implement new legislative elections, with a different law than before, that will establish a parliament of 161 deputies distributed among the electoral districts.

Tunisian Elections

These legislative elections come in light of the desperate attempts made by the Renaissance Movement of the Muslim Brotherhood in Tunisia to disrupt the electoral process, after the state of failure and the many crises facing the movement recently, in light of the charges that are being pursued by the terrorist movement and all its leaders, headed by Rached Ghannouchi.

Muslim Brotherhood Attempts

Dr. Oussama Aouidet, a Tunisian political analyst and leader of the Tunisian People’s Movement, says that the country will succeed in the last task of the elections for the new House of Representatives, in continuation of the road map announced by Tunisian President Kais Saied after the events of July 25, 2009, pointing out that the parliamentary elections will involve the Tunisian people, despite all the attempts and schemes of the Brotherhood terrorism.

The Tunisian political analyst added that all the attempts that the terrorist group is planning will fail, pointing out that the Tunisian judiciary continues to arrest movement leaders who were at the head of state institutions involved in a number of cases, the most prominent of which are granting passports and visas to young people and sending them to terrorist hotbeds in Syria, in addition to charges of corruption, terrorism and assassinations that pursue this movement and its leadership in full.

An End Forever

For his part, Tunisian political analyst Bassel Tarjman said that the Muslim Brotherhood Ennahdha Movement does not find any way out, after being pronounced by the Tunisian people, as they seek to use other tools to pressure the Tunisian state to return to the political scene once again at the expense of the Tunisian state.

The Tunisian political analyst added that the Tunisian people will not respond to the attempts of terrorism and the Muslim Brotherhood to disrupt the march and stability of their country. Rather, the Tunisian people will have the final word in their participation in the elections, in which Ennahdha will be eliminated forever.
