The renowned Turkish chef, Burak Özdemir, owner of the CZN Burak restaurant chain, filed a lawsuit against his father for selling the rights to his son’s name.

The Story of “Betrayal”

The world-famous chef appeared in a video explaining to his followers that he filed a lawsuit against his father, accusing him of secretly defrauding him regarding his famous restaurants, confirming that he will continue his professional career in the culinary world on his own.

In a video circulated on social media platforms, he revealed that he no longer owns any restaurant under his name, except for one in Istanbul, saying, “I hope you don’t get deceived by the thieves who exploit my name and image.”

He attributed the dispute between him and his father to disagreements in their business, particularly related to his father selling the rights to his name to a foreign businessman without his knowledge.

This is not the first time that the famous chef has had disagreements with his father; one of the recent ones was his father’s opposition to his visit to areas affected by a violent earthquake in Turkey.

The crisis between Burak and his father erupted after the devastating earthquake in Turkey when Burak sought to extend help to the affected areas, but he faced obstacles from his father during that period.

Unable to tolerate attempts to hinder his aid to the earthquake victims in his homeland Hatay, Burak cut all ties with his father.
