A groom faces a dilemma on his wedding night – What did he do?
A Turkish groom found himself in a predicament on his wedding night after accidentally hitting a Syrian boy belonging to a refugee family in Turkey.
The unfortunate incident began after the wedding celebration had ended, and the newlyweds were on their way home in Izmir, Turkey. However, the groom accidentally struck a child who was walking on the road a few kilometers away from the wedding venue.
Following the accident, a crowd gathered on the street, and passersby requested an ambulance for the injured child. He was subsequently transported to a hospital near the Karabaglar area.
Images published on local websites showed dozens of bystanders surrounding the child and the ambulance that provided immediate medical care after the accident.
According to local media reports, the driver has been detained and is currently in custody, particularly since the injured child is in critical condition in the hospital.
Information circulated on social media by users suggests that the child is 12 years old, left school, and started working to support his family.
As of now, it remains unclear whether the Turkish driver was speeding or not, and the authorities have not yet released the results of their investigations into the incident.
