An Officer from the Arab Coalition Forces in the Prisons of Yemen’s Muslim Brotherhood.. Details

Security sources have revealed that an officer from the Arab Coalition Forces has been held in the prisons of the militia of the (Al-Islah) party, “the branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen,” for five years.

According to the site (Al-Muntassaf Net) quoting the sources, an officer in the Arab Coalition Forces with the rank of First Lieutenant named Saud Al-Thubaiti Al-Otaibi was kidnapped in the Al-Abr area five years ago and is currently in cell number 3 in the political security prison in Marib governorate, which is controlled by the (Al-Islah) party militia.

The sources confirmed that the officer, who significantly contributed to the defense of the faith and the two countries, “Saudi Arabia and Yemen,” against the terrorist Houthi gang, suffers from health issues due to malnutrition and psychological conditions caused by being prevented from communicating with his family in Riyadh and being forcibly detained for years.

The officer has appealed to his country’s authorities for humanitarian intervention, to release him, listen to his demands, and provide him with psychological and health support.

The sources did not reveal the reason for the officer’s kidnapping, forced detention, and imprisonment in the political security prison in Marib governorate.

There is a special relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni (Al-Islah) party that has lasted for more than a decade, but the current internal policies in Yemen threaten to undermine this unique partnership, especially with the implicit rapprochement of the Muslim Brotherhood with the terrorist Houthi militias, and the obstruction of the actions of the legitimate government.
