“The Head of the Serpent”: A Book Exposing the Brotherhood’s Conspiracies that Bred All Terrorist Organizations

Egyptian author Abdelkader Shheib, former head of Dar Al-Hilal, asserts in his book titled “The Head of the Serpent… Words to Expose the Brotherhood’s Conspiracies” that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a charitable organization but rather a takfiri group that has practiced violence throughout most of its existence without ever apologizing. Instead, it has spawned all the terrorist organizations that continue to afflict us today.

In his book, Shheib argues that the Brotherhood is neither a political party nor a regular organization; it is a secret entity that conceals everything: its members, funding, plans, and programs. Even after establishing its own political party in 2011, the Brotherhood refused to legalize its status or disclose its secrets.

He asserts that it cannot be regarded as a national force; rather, it is the principal pillar of an international organization spreading across numerous countries and continents with the goal of restoring what they call the “Caliphate,” disregarding national borders and viewing the lands of nations as mere “handfuls of filthy dust,” according to the Egyptian site Al-Tanweer.

The book presents a path to liberation by “cutting off the head of the snake of terrorism,” through dismantling the Brotherhood’s secret organization, asserting that coexistence with it is impossible. He issues a stern warning to those who have forgotten or overlooked the crimes committed by this terrorist group, not only during its time in power but even after its removal.

Shheib advises against repeating the mistake of extending support to the Brotherhood, cautioning against the organization’s continued rumor-mongering despite its current state of weakness.

He emphasizes that the organization is losing its weapons day by day: initially, it lost its capacity for mobilization and protest gatherings; subsequently, its use of violence became ineffective; and finally, it lost foreign protection, particularly American, as the United States accepted the new reality without any Brotherhood presence. Consequently, it is left only with the weapon of rumors to keep itself afloat.

The author reminds citizens that Egypt has been subjected to a serious conspiracy and warns that the threat continues, aiming to undermine national entities, violate territorial integrity, weaken national armies, restrict national freedom, change lifestyles, and force countries to submit to foreign dominance.
