Now Available: How to Use “Grok AI” to Create Images and Texts
“Grok AI” is an advanced AI model designed for generating images and texts, now available to free users of the “X” platform.
Every major tech company has its own initiative in generative AI, whether it’s Google with its Gemini AI models, Amazon with Anthropic, or Meta with Llama.
Recently, X (formerly Twitter) has also ramped up its AI initiatives with Grok, which is now accessible to free users of the platform after being previously exclusive to X Premium subscribers.
How to Use It
The first step is to visit grok.com. Once there, the chatbot will ask for your age; simply input your birth year and proceed accordingly.
You’ll be greeted with a message: “Welcome to Grok, how can I help you today?”. In the input box, you can ask any question, and Grok will respond.
Grok can access the internet and provide real-time information, allowing you to ask questions like “What’s the temperature in my city?”. Simply type your question, then press “Enter” or click the arrow icon on the right side of the input box.
For the best experience, it’s recommended to log in with your X account. However, this isn’t mandatory. You can also register with your email or sign in via Google, making Grok accessible to everyone, regardless of an X account.
What Can It Do?
Like other AI-based chatbots, Grok can generate both text and images. You can input prompts such as “Create an image of a dancing cat” or anything else you can imagine, and Grok will generate images for you.
It’s also worth noting that this service is entirely free, including the image creation feature. Grok offers various modes, such as “Auto”, “Visualise”, “Search”, and “Model-Only”. Additionally, you can upload your own files to be used as inputs for personalized responses.
