Hamas Hezbollah and Houthis: Netanyahu Unveils His Vision to End the Gaza War
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has, for the first time, outlined his vision for ending the war in the Gaza Strip.
In a written statement received on Sunday, Netanyahu stated: “I would like to address the issue of Hamas, which involves three continuous false allegations against us in an ongoing lie. First, the claim that we are not negotiating… This is untrue. We are conducting negotiations under fire, which makes them effective as well. We see that cracks are beginning to appear.”

He added: “Second, it is said that we are not prepared to discuss the final stage… This is also untrue. We are ready. Hamas will lay down its arms, and its leaders will be allowed to leave. We will ensure general security in the Gaza Strip and implement the Trump Plan as well as the voluntary migration plan. This is our roadmap. We do not hide it, and we are ready to discuss it at any time.”
He continued: “The third false claim is that we do not care about the hostages… This is not true. The ministers, my family, and I engage deeply with them and share their immense pain. Saying that we do not care is a direct echo of Hamas propaganda. This is what Hamas presents in its propaganda videos to create division among us and paint a false picture.”

He further stated: “We are committed to bringing the hostages back and are actively working towards it. To this day, the combination of military and political pressure is the only approach that has successfully secured the release of hostages—not the empty slogans I hear in the media from so-called experts.”
Netanyahu emphasized that “Regarding Hamas in Gaza, military pressure is effective. It works because it is executed on two fronts simultaneously: on one hand, it crushes Hamas’ military and administrative capabilities, and on the other hand, it creates the conditions necessary for the release of our hostages. That is exactly what we are doing.”

He continued: “The security cabinet convened last night and decided to increase the pressure, which was already high, to accelerate the destruction of Hamas and create the optimal conditions for the release of our hostages.”
Netanyahu began his speech by stating: “This morning, I will speak about three entities starting with the letter H: first Hamas, then Hezbollah, and finally the Houthis.”
He then addressed the issue of Hezbollah, stating: “In Lebanon, we enforce a very strict policy, without any compromises. This is the directive I, along with the Minister of Defense and the government, have given to the Israeli military, and they are executing it in the best possible way. We do not tolerate deception, sporadic attacks, or leniency.”

He added: “The Lebanese state is responsible for what happens on its territory and must ensure that no attacks against Israel originate from within its borders. We respect the Lebanese state and its army, and we demand that they uphold their commitments.”
Regarding the Houthis, Netanyahu stated: “I deeply appreciate the actions of our ally, the United States. They are confronting them with great force. We, of course, are taking measures to protect ourselves, as we have recently done. However, the United States’ entry into this arena with such force represents a significant shift.”
Finally, Netanyahu concluded by saying: “We always value our alliances. We stand alongside the greatest power in the world, which supports us unreservedly, both on this front and in other arenas, and we fully appreciate this—both at the citizen level and within the Israeli government.”
