Information reveals the falsehood of Turkey’s claims regarding the Brotherhood
Much documented information has revealed the falsity of the Turkish regime’s claims regarding the cessation of the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is on the terrorist lists in many countries, as part of efforts to reach out to Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.
Eight days ago, the Turkish city of Istanbul hosted a Brotherhood conference titled “Youth of Change, a Decade of Struggle and a Step for the Future”. The conference was attended by a number of leaders of the organization in Egypt and the Arab world, as well as leaders of the Hasm movement, the armed wing of the group, with the aim of reviving the revolutions of what is known as the Arab Spring. It revealed new details about the activities of the group on Turkish soil.
The Brotherhood is holding training courses on intelligence for its members living in Turkey at an academy called International Relations, supervised by Brotherhood leader Essam Abdelshafy, Al-Arabiya reported.
The academy was founded in 2017 and specializes in teaching Brotherhood youth and members how to qualify for humanities and social studies, especially those related to political science and international relations, strategic studies, law, economics, administration, media, sociology and studies.
During the academy’s events, which are held in the YeniBosna area of Istanbul, it was found that the academy instructors teach courses and courses on intelligence, information and group security, recruitment techniques in special operations, personal communication and communication with the public, how to counter recruitment and containment operations, how to infiltrate groups and organizations through trained agents, gang wars, psychological warfare and rumor wars.
The organizational structure of the Academy comprises a number of key levels, such as the Board of Trustees, which is based on the provision of material support to the Academy, participation in the development of plans and policies and the submission of ideas and proposals for the development of the Foundation.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the administrative and organizational functions of the activities of the Academy and represents it. It has three members and meets periodically to formulate the operational policies and plans of the Foundation.
The Advisory Board of the Academy consists of a group of experts and academics interested in the activities of the Academy, which meets periodically to discuss organizational and scientific aspects and whose members participate in the activities and programs of the Academy.
The academy has around 320 academics and experts from 25 countries around the world who participate in programs and activities on a regular or remote basis.
Essam Abdelshafy, a Brotherhood leader, is a professor of political science and international relations at Turkey’s Roshd University.
The academy aims to graduate a new generation of group members trained in intelligence, gather information, recruit sources and operatives, hunt political leaders and adversaries and find out their weaknesses, and how to recruit or neutralize them.
It also translates and teaches all books on the workings of U.S. and Israeli intelligence.
